Reach all your audience with flyers sent out with your rent statements.

We believe that everyone in our industry should be doing their bit towards financial inclusion. We see our part in this going beyond simply facilitating tenants’ contents insurance schemes: we pledge to help raise the level of understanding of home contents insurance and its benefits.
To help us in our pledge, we are working with the Social Publishing Project, who publish Quids in! magazine. Quids in! is distributed to 200,000 households across the UK every quarter. It is designed to help people understand and manage their money better, with informative money advice and easy to read engaging articles.
We feel Quids in! magazine is a brilliant opportunity for us to reach out to people, helping them to understand insurance and how it can protect them.

Matthew Mckinley, Client Manager at Aon, worked with Orbit to run a bespoke promotion to combined tenants contents insurance and their residents reward scheme:
“Orbit Heart of England run a rewards scheme for tenants, which they call Propoints. They wanted to combine the promotion of Propoints with their tenants’ contents insurance scheme, allowing residents to use their Propoints to pay for up to 50% of their insurance premium.
We worked with Orbit Heart of England to understand their Propoints scheme and develop the promotion and campaign plan. We then developed campaign material to get the promotion out to residents.
The campaign included flyers to go in new residents’ packs. The housing officers would then talk to residents about the promotion at their settling in visit and check they had considered their insurance needs. Aon also provided banners and give-a-ways to be used at residents’ events.”
Orbit Heart of England commented that they were grateful for all the help and support provided by their Client Manager Matthew.

Wythenshawe Community Housing Group
“Both Parkway Green and Willow Park appointed Aon because we felt more comfortable providing the product for our customers. The premiums are low and the coverage good. It offered us flexibility should we want to change the scheme and we also had experience of the scheme through the Manchester Tenants Scheme so it seemed a natural choice for us. We also knew that the claims service was good from feedback from our customers.”
Rochdale Boroughwide Housing
“This year, for the first time, RBH involved our Tenants Panel in the tender process. Although they were keen for the tenants they represent to get the best value for money, they also understood the importance of the premiums being guaranteed for the term of the agreement and that the cover was the best available. The panel believe that the premium levels offered by Aon/AVIVA along with the marketing commitment will ensure the current success of RBH's scheme and hopefully encourage more tenants to insure their possessions.”
“Gentoo Group have been working closely with Aon for over 2 years now for our home contents and crisis protection schemes. Aon have supported Gentoo in all aspects of our scheme as well as supporting us in exploring and developing new products. Aon offer a first class, professional service with that personal touch and we look forward to continuing to work closely with Aon.”

“We are really pleased with the level of service we have received from Aon and Aviva. They have offered us ongoing personal support for the many years we have been with them and it is for that reason we have re-appointed them on a number of occasions. We have been working with Ally our client manager for more than ten years and Ally has always given us any support we have needed. Ally is very helpful and we have a fantastic working relationship!”
“Aon work with us to provide all manner of marketing activities, helping us to get the message out to tenants the importance of being insured. Promotion is important to make sure tenants are informed about the risks of not having insurance, and Aon have been very supportive about working with us on regular and targeted marketing campaigns.
We appointed Aon and Aviva as they, like us, are actively involved in all aspects of ‘Financial Inclusion’ which gives us confidence that not only do they fully understand our needs, but those of our tenants too.”
“Aon and Aviva have offered us ongoing personal support for the last 3 years we have been with them and it is for that reason we extended our agreement to work with them for a further 2 years.”
